Health Insurers cover your reflexology treatment if your therapist is a registered member of a recognised professional body of reflexologists. I am a member of The Association of Reflexologists.
Examples of Health Plans that cover Reflexology
MEDICASH
recognises The Association of Reflexologists registration for reimbursement of Reflexology and registered Massage Therapists who use Indian Head Massage.
Medicash will cover 50% of the therapy cost up to the set limit per year, depending on the plan.
SIMPLY HEALTH
Level 2 - claim up to £100 for Reflexology costs per person per year
Level 3 - claim up to £150 for Reflexology costs per person per year
Level 4 - claim up to £200 for Reflexoloy costs per person per year
BHSF
BHSF recognises The Association of Reflexologists registration for reimbursement for Reflexology for all levels of their health cash plans. BHSF will reimburse for 50-75% of claims up to a limit of £750 per year, depending on the level of coverage.
